January 30, 1994 - August 4, 2007
They say all good things must come to an end. And, as much as it is still an honor for me to serve you each weekday morning and afternoon, the time has come for me to move on.
I wanted to tell you personally that, effective in early January, I am retiring from and ending my employment here at Channel 3. It has been a wonderful twelve and a half year run. Rest assured, this decision I have made to move on is mine, and mine alone. I will be leaving here on the absolute best of terms with this wonderful organization.
I will be leaving behind some of the finest, most professional colleagues I have ever had the pleasure of working alongside. However, LJ and I need to get back out into the community, doing what we enjoy the most: Talking to school kids, working with animal rescue organizations and talking to public and private groups.
Professionally, I will focus all my energy and attention on the upcoming release of the book I have recently completed about my life with Jordan, entitled: “Jordan’s Paws Across America - - The True Story of a Dog and his Best Friend,” which I am confident will be on local bookshelves by late winter or early spring.

On behalf of my sweet old boy Jordan and my adorable new companion LJ, I want to thank you for inviting us into your hearts and homes all of these years. It has truly been an honor to serve you, both on-air and out in the community.
Finally, no matter where our professional journeys take us, thanks to you, LJ and I will always call Las Vegas “Home.” This is not a “Good Bye.” This is simply a “Until we meet again.”
