Bought your book through your website  and just finished it.  Cried like a baby at the end because I have a dog  of my own (also my "girl") who is 11 years old and I know that it will be  a horrible day for me when I lose her.  The book was wonderful.

 Just finished the book and it was perfectly written in remembrance   of Jordan.  You did an awesome job and I cried my eyes out.  It   truly made me miss him so much too.  Thank you for writing this   amazing memoir of your best friend and sharing it with the rest of  us.  I will pass the word on to all as a must read.

The book was absolutely wonderful. I finished it the day after I received it in the mail.  WOW!  I have to say I was crying before the end of the second chapter and balled through the end. John I had no idea your personal  story is so touching. I can see a lot of myself in you.  It was a privilege to read and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing it.

I know you are overwhelmed with e-mails but had to tell you just got my book and love it..good job and anyone who has lost their beloved pet gets it...thanks for years of sharing Jordan. My husband and I were discussing this...it is so odd, we still mourn Jordan as if he had been ours and when the book arrived in the mail I cried..really weird..and to look at me I look like a "normal" person :)..go figure..your dog touched us in a way no other dog on TV has and I don't really understand why...again thanks for sharing.

Just wanted to make acomment or two about the book.  I received it yesterday in the mail and I started reading it about 4pm and finished it at 11pm!  I could not put it down.  I have been many of the places that were mentioned in the book and it was so REAL TO ME.  Having loved all animals all my life, I found the connection between you and Jordan to be amazingly true to my own feelings about our dogs and cats over the years.  I was a great read and congratulations to you for expressing yourself so well.  I know all animals lovers will enjoy it.

 I picked up my mail at 8:30 last night and was so happy to see my book. I want you to know that I set down and began to read it as soon as I walked in the door. I did not put it down until 12:00. I had this warm feeling in my heart as I read chapter after chapter. It made me smile and cry, it is the most beutiful story I have ever read, you and Jordan are real hero's and a test to what this world should be. I think of Jordan often and go to visit him too. Your book is amazing and I cant wait to get back to it. I am sure I will read it many times over.

I received your book yesterday and I want to thank you.   I have laughed and cried reading your book.  A lot of the things you have wrote about sincerely touches my heart.  When a person truly loves their pet , this book will bring back many memories good and bad .  But as we all know - the  good always out weighs the bad.

I received your book yesterday and was up until the wee hours reading it.  So today I will be dragging my ass........Once I started reading it, I could not put it down......Thank you for sharing all the ups and downs in your life and the loving relationship with Jordan.   Wish more people would get it but to them they are just dogs.   I can't call ours dogs, they are our furkids.   Your book made me laugh and cry.   I attended Jordan's memorial service and will never forget how beautiful it was.   In the book you mentioned how hot it was that evening but all I remember is the love all around for you and your baby boy.
