Summary:

Wow!!! What another AMAZING odyssey! Thanks Dad for taking me along. I'm (we're) not getting any younger and this may have to be our last LONG ride in the car!

We are so blessed in this country to have so many wonderful places to see and so many nice people to meet! We truly do live in the greatest country on Earth. PLEASE…. Before you even think about leaving the good-old U.S. of A., take some time to explore this great nation… by car! And, be sure and take along your family pet!

I have to thank some very special people:

Dr. Kristine and Dr. Dan and all the folks at Sahara-Pines Animal Hospital: 876-7580 (My home away from home) They made sure I was all set with the proper medication for traveling to different states. They are THE BEST.

Vicky and Steve Soares and all the wonderful people at Sprint PCS: www.sprintpcs.com. With my Sprint PCS and a "high-speed dial-up card" for the laptop, we were "connected" the ENTIRE trip!

Clark Albright and the fabulous staff at the J.W. Marriott here in Las Vegas. With their help, we were able to stay in some wonderful Marriott properties, including the Fisherman's Wharf Marriott in San Francisco and the Residence Inn - Lake Union, Seattle. (We also were booked at the wonderful Residence Inn just east of Salt Lake, but we made a last-minute travel change through Denver.) You can learn more about Marriott's great properties by logging on to: www.marriott.com.

Oh Thank Heaven for 7-11 !!! They were nice enough to provide us with hot/cold beverages and sandwiches and snacks so Dad never went hungry. www.7-eleven.com.

Karin and Joyce and all my friends at "The Firm" Public Relations Agency.

The amazing team of Erich Ebel and Kelly Fridmann. They handle all of the www.kvbc.com web stuff and my www.Paws-Across-America.com web stuff.

Georgia Caborn and the "wiz-kids" in our KVBC MIS department. (They gave Dad the laptop to use on the trip so we could send pictures/stories for you to see each day!)

Tressa and Joyce for their "Care Package" for me and Dad!

Jim and Beverly Rogers and all the folks here at News 3 you've ALWAYS made me feel like one of the family.

Finally, I want to thank YOU, the Channel 3 viewer for your support these past 7+ years. You've made Dad and me feel like a part of YOUR family and we are forever in your debt. Thanks for ALWAYS being there for us.

So that's it. "Paws Across America II" is in the history books. (Speaking of books…. Dad's trying to get a book deal as I write this.)

Look for the Paws Across America II Official Tour T-Shirt just in time for the Holidays! (Proceeds will benefit Canine Companions for Independence.)

See you on TV and out and about! God Bless You. And, GOD BLESS AMERICA

Fondly,

Jordan Fredericks

P.S. I almost forgot! I guess I better thank Dad for being my best friend for going on 10 years. I'm not very good at expressing myself, Dad. But, I do love you will all my heart. -J
